Sasha Al Alou is a researcher at Omran Center for Strategic Studies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Damascus University and Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. His research spans the areas of governance and institutional reform in Syria, social and political structures and their transformation during the Syrian conflict, military and jihadi organizations, and discourse analysis and public opinion studies.
